From the deep wellsprings of Wesley-based paradigms, they reflect on the work of the Church and its mission in the world. The primary purpose of the Doctor of Ministry is to provide continuing education for practicing ministers. The APNTS Doctor of Ministry degree in Transformational Ministry is recognized by the Commission on Higher Education of the Philippines.

The focus of the Doctor of Ministry will be "Transformational Ministry". The Foundational Core courses are offered twice a year in blocks of two weeks. Twelve weeks of pre-seminar online work in the student's setting, facilitated by the instructors, including pre-seminar reading (normally pages) and writing assignments of the instructor's choice.

The committee will consider the student's progress as well as their MRP proposal at this time before approving the student as a "candidate" for the D. Purpose of evaluating candidacy at the time the MRP proposal is presented Potential students are considered for successful completion of the degree program and application of their learning in their ministry setting. 1 There is no dissertation in the Doctor of Ministry program, so the use of the word "candidate" does not refer to "all but dissertation" (abd) student status.

If the assignments are not expected in the course, the grade will be withdrawn (“W”) and the course must be repeated if it is a concentration or core course. Since the primary purpose of a Doctor of Ministry degree is to train an individual to perform a job at a higher level of competence than that achieved in the foundational work completed in the M.Div., the environment and context in which a person ministers should be an important place in the educational process . To help the student determine how the content of the seminar courses can best be applied in a ministerial context. During the first seminar course, the student will submit their nomination list to the Ministerial Participation Committee with their names, titles/positions, reasons for selection and the email address at.
