In this seminar the individual is oriented to the principles, practices and philosophies of the cooperative. Based on the report of the members of the Education Commission and from the report of Dr. The respondents of the study were the prospective members who participated in the PMSE conducted on December 7, 2008 and January 11, 2009.

The researcher used a survey questionnaire for the socio-demographic profile of the potential members, to which the Pre-Post test was linked. The finding shows that 27 or 33% of the respondents belonged to the age group of 29 to 35 years. The finding shows that all respondents were of legal age and met the age requirement of the cooperative.

And as stated in the membership requirements, applicants must be heads of households or breadwinners. Although the number of household members is not a requirement for joining the cooperative, the finding shows that the majority of respondents have large household members. The first part of the test is about the definition of cooperative, the types of cooperatives and the types of members of a cooperative.

The result shows that 49% of respondents knew the definition of a cooperative before participating in PMSH.

Membership is open to any natural person who has Philippine citizenship and has attained legal age. All BBCCC members must participate in the parliamentary affairs of the cooperative, such as actively participating in the deliberations of the General Assembly (GA) and in other projects. Figures 3 and 4 show the distribution of respondents based on the total scores for Test II covering BBCCC policy.

This finding shows that most of the potential members already knew the policies of the BBCCC. The result shows that there was an increase in the number of respondents who knew the policies of the cooperative they wanted to become members of. The passing scores taken into account when counting passers were from 15 points, which was 50% of the total score, to 30 points, the perfect score.

This may mean that some of the respondents may have acquired the knowledge during the workshop. The finding also shows that the majority of respondents attended the workshop not to learn about the cooperative, but rather they participated because they could not join by attending the pre-membership educational workshop as indicated by the number of respondents who answered the pre-workshop evaluation questions. . The purpose of the study is to conduct an evaluation (Pre-Post) of the pre-member membership education workshop of Baguio-Benguet Community Credit Cooperative.

The total number of respondents was 82 prospective members who attended the pre-member training seminar last December 7, 2008 and January 2009. The result of the pre-post assessment test on the cooperative and BBCCC policies showed that there is no significant difference between the number of respondents who are on achieved a passing grade in the pre-assessment test, and the number of respondents who achieved a passing grade in the post-assessment test. This is because during the PMES the moderators and speakers emphasized only the general principles and not the specific policies and practices of the studied cooperative.

Most of the respondents were in their mid-adult years, so the age criterion for cooperative membership was met. Most of the respondents knew about co-operative, types of co-operative, types of co-operative members, principles of co-operative and even some specific policies of BBCCC, so they passed the pre-assessment test. Some of the prospective members most likely attended PMES only for application purposes and not to know about the cooperative.
